A 3D-printed combustion chamber of a rocket engine was ignited or used and had to be inspected for damage upon return.

The goal was to determine whether another operation is feasible.

Execution

For this purpose, the integrity of the wall as well as the cooling channels were examined. The cooling channels also had to be checked for possible blockages.

The combustion chamber showed no damage to the wall and all cooling channels were clear.
